An independent guide to reading the lab paperwork
Research Decoded is an independent education resource for people who buy and study research compounds. We explain, in plain language, how to read the documents that say what is actually in a vial: the certificate of analysis, the chromatogram, the net peptide content line, the lab signature. We sell nothing on this site. The only thing we ask for is an email address, and only if you want a resource sent to you.
Why this exists
The research-compound market runs on label claims. A label is a claim. A certificate of analysis is a measurement. Most buyers have never been shown how to tell the two apart, which means a confident-looking label and a thin, unverifiable one read the same on a shelf. We exist to close that gap, so the document does the talking instead of the marketing.
The standard we hold
- Cited, not asserted. Every study we reference is preclinical and linked to its primary source. Where the evidence on a compound is thin, we say so rather than pad it.
- About the molecule, not the reader. We describe what the literature reports in the third person. We do not write an outcome onto you, and we do not give dosing or medical advice.
- The document over the adjective. We teach the five fields a real report names and the line the category tends to bury, so you can judge any certificate from any seller.
- Plain language. The science is technical; the reading of it does not have to be. We translate without dumbing it down.
What we are not
We are not a laboratory, and we do not run tests. We are not a store, and we do not sell research compounds on this site. We are a reading resource. When we explain a certificate, we are explaining how an independent laboratory documents a batch, not vouching for any particular seller.
The emails
When you ask for a resource, we email it to you. From time to time we send short notes that build the same skill: how to read a chromatogram, where net content hides, how to trace a report to the lab that signed it.
